A Dream from the Lord
the Survey Party
 

   In this dream I was on a job-site, a member of a "survey party."  I was holding the pole, while standing at a low position / elevation.  I caught a few glimpses of the "party chief" whom I recognized as a pastor who also had a TV ministry.  

   For whatever reason, we were using my car, to and fro the job-site.  Well, at 2 pm everyone jumped into my car, quitting for the day.  The Party Chief was behind the wheel.  I knew that we had more to do, and shouldn't be quitting 'early.'  I stepped up to the driver's window and said to the Party Chief 2 or 3 times:  "get out of the car."

End of dream.

Explanation through a word
They were not quitting early.  In their minds (the way they saw it) they could go no further.  They didn't know that there was a further distance to go.  They had gone as far as they knew to go. 

Comments

   This dream certainly describes the theological understanding of certain current teachers; the Party Chief in particular, and his/her "Tabernacle-restoration" TV teaching series.  Quitting early because he/she had no knowledge of the 3rd Glory / the Holy of Holies.

   In this dream I was constructing a wood frame building.  I was working with the tools.  Typical of construction, it required know-how and good mathematics.  I remember measuring & laying-out 3 in-line clearstory windows.  The owner was there.  He was not entirely satisfied with the structure.  My eyes glanced up at a huge, old, reused beam that had been inserted into the structure by another person.  It was out-of-place, being used in this structure.

Comments

   I immediately understood the message being given me in this dream.  Simply stated, it's this:  the end-time assembly that the Lord requires us to build will be 1st century -- concepts & activities that have been ignored and/or improperly performed by the existing churches.

   The 'One Glory Gospel' and men's doctrines severely hinder God's fullest purposes, and He won't allow them to be incorporated into His End Time work.

   This is the first of three warnings that I've received on this same subject.  God has never deviated from the original plan that He gave to Ancient Israel.  The 1st century Messianic-believers (early rain) entered into His presence due to correctly running the Tabernacle pattern, and so must we.  Much disobedience is allowed in the Outer Court (Rev 22:15), but not in the Father's Glory.
 

   I find myself as a 'passenger' ... right, front seat ... in an automobile.  I don't know who's driving.  We're driving on a highway ... on the side of a hill.  The highway parallels the edge of a vast lake.  A number of other cars are also on the highway, both in front of us and behind us.  We're all proceeding on this highway.  No fog or rain obscures our view of the highway; everything is clearly visible.  

   But a rather surprising thing is happening ... the cars ahead of us are swerving off the highway and driving straight down into the lake, and they disappear beneath the surface of the water.  Then, I find myself looking out the side window, down at the lake, as our car proceeds on a 'bridge' that spans and overlooks the lake.  Next, I observe that the lake is iced-over with clear ice.  As my eyes behold the vast, vast lake, I'm also looking through the ice., and see untold multitudes of people living at the bottom of the lake.  They didn't look raggedy; many were well-dressed in suits.  Although they were alive ... living their lives ... yet, on the other hand, they were spiritually 'dead.'  I wasn't feeling 'life' coming from them.  It was kind of 'freaky.'  Another interesting thing; these people were puzzled, wondering why they are there.

   I praise God that He gave this wonderful dream to my spiritual sister, for it is a concise explanation of a long overlooked and misunderstood feature:  the testing, and unapproval of certain Christian individuals.

   In this dream God is telling us about those believers who, although filled with the Holy Spirit invitation / empowering, had proven themselves to be of such unworthy quality that He disapproves their remaining in the 2nd Glory, and returns them to the Outer-Court.

   Although preached about as 'the God of a 2nd chance,' God has a couple of cut-off points; one of which is illustrated in this dream  For further study see: Matt 24:48-51; Heb 6:4-8; 2 Pet 2:20-22; Rev 3:16; Num 14:22-24; Phil 2:12; James 1:22-24; and Rev 22:15.

Dream #1
B:  Mommy, what does God look like?
Mom: Said (something like) "Nobody knows; you can't look at God"
B:  But I know what he looks like, mommy!  He looks like the sun. (he told her "yellow")
Mom: Honey, how do you know?
B:  God told me; when me was sleeping;
Mom: What else did He show you?
B:  Nobody can look at Him, mommy; he's like the sun (we understand this to mean extremely bright and shining)
 

Dream #2
B:  Mommy, how many God's are there?
Mom: There is only one God.
B:  No mommy, there's two.
Mom: Honey, there's only one God, the God we pray to.
B:  No mommy .. there's the bad god, and he wants to be God.  Him's bad ... he teases people.
Mom: Honey, how do you know this?
B:  God talked to me, when me was sleeping ... he talked real quiet and like a man. (his voice sounded like a man)

   Isn't God fabulous!  He'll even reveal things to a 5 year old boy who was getting into the love affair.

   I found myself entering a fairly large room.  I talked with a few others as we casually walked diagonally across this room to the far end.  Nothing outstanding happened during this time.

   The next scene was this:  I saw a row of people ... 6 or 7, maybe a dozen people, all standing in a single row.  They all had their hands raised, apparently in worship to God.  They were like SMOOTH, well-choreographed Ballenesse dancers as they rhythmically moved their "heads" from side to side.  The understanding that simultaneously accompanied this nite-vision was :  "disfunctional worship" ... unacceptable in God's sight.  I knew that this is how God viewed the scene that He had just shown me. 

   I didn't know what to make of this dream.  It didn't fit any situation that I was aware of, or involved with.  I laid it aside, not even recording it at the time.  I didn't ponder it, or ask God about it ... I merely laid it aside.  As it turns out, this dream was very prophetic.  Not until 2 or 3 months later was I to know where it fit into God's scheme of things.  Here is what transpired to bring it about:  through a friend's introduction, I met this group of people.  As I kept contact with them, I saw their 'concept' of worship and then I recalled " the chorus line" dream, and see the connection.  But because of the negative message of the dream, I knew that it would be very difficult to share with them; they would never accept it.

   But it continued to fester on my conscience for a long while, and I finally came to the place where I had to know from the Father if He really expected me to share this dream with them.  Am I really expected to deliver this message that says that their worship is unacceptable in God's sight?  I got really desperate and demanding with God, on and off for a few weeks, and then one evening He spoke: "When you've been seriously off-track, haven't I corrected you?"  I was astonished at His wise answer.  But now, more than knowing His answer to my question, I also knew that I bore the responsibility of sharing this admonishing dream with these brothers and sisters.

   This dream, this word, and several other recent instructions, all make it emphatically clear that God desires to do a major work here.  (And so, per His directive to help them, I typed this up and presented it, along with my "comments", some of which are as follows:)

Comments about Worship

   If we just do what the guy next to us is doing ... be it raised hands, singing, etc ... but are still devoid of an intense, personal relationship with God ... we are only projecting disfunctional worship.  The worship that touches God ... and that meets His requirements ... is a heart thing.  A love affair.  When it has been established, then uplifted praise, song, and hands are a wonderful outflow unto Him.  If the fervent-love-relationship has not been established, then we're still a work in progress, although the outward activity may still be there, and even look and sound really good.

   To the undisconcerning viewer, everyone looks the same.  But to God, who reads the heart-track as clearly as the sound-track, it's another matter.  It's the reason that God refuses to award "election" to the worthless servants.  They did the easy, outward-things.  They witnessed miracles, prophesied, spoke in tongues and even sang worship songs ... but failed to cultivate the love-relationship and win Gods' approval.

   But where and how does the love-relationship start?  Firstly, with the Holy Spirit invitation/empowering.  Then, somewhere along the line as we spiritually grow, we realize that God really is fabulous, and that we're all so wonderfully indebted to Him ... so, it just makes such wonderful sense that we ought to be returning our love ... and so, we learn to cuddle with Him in the secret place ... and the journey begins.  Somewhere along the way we make the decision to have and continue an eternal-love-relationship, and we establish a new life-pattern.

   Early on, prior to receiving His approval, we're in training, and we'll even attend gatherings wherein we outwardly display love and worship.  And this is expected and desirable; it's all part of the growth process.  But the intimate bonding occurs through fellowship in the secret place.  

   And while we're on the subject of signs and wonders, group worship, and getting God's "approval", I need to alert you to an important distinction: feeling His presence in an anointed assembly isn't the qualifier to enter His eternal presence.  Neither is viewing, and/or receiving healings, miracles, signs, wonders, prophecy, etc.  All these spiritual activities begin and occur in the second glory, prior to the goal.  They are God's signs to the unsaved world, and part of the healing, testing, and maturing of the believers.

   But the unapproved Spirit-filled believers of Matt 7:22,23; 8:12; 22:12-14; 25:30 and Luke 13:20-30 found out too late ... at the rewarding-inducting Great White throne ... that the spiritual activities that they were privileged to see ... were not the goal.  Their progress stopped prematurely.  Their eternal destiny is outside of the City.  Rev 22:15

   There was this married couple.  Young of age, it seemed not married too long ... a few .. .several years.  Anyway, she was kind of different ... she was still wearing her wedding gown ... Since when they were married.  Never wore anything else.

   But he was very different.  He was just a head.  A living, breathing, thinking, talking HEAD.  He didn't have a body or arms or legs.  Just a head!  Now the thing about this guy was that, that didn't stop him from wanting to do everything.  He wanted to work, play, write poetry, water ski, roller skate, help others, write letters, caress those he loved, show great love toward people, etc, etc.  He had a great vision of things to do, to help people.  He had, we could say , a good grasp of how he should live his Christian life.  In the dream, he probably did accomplish some things, but only with the total help of others. 

   I awoke.  Stark truth staring me in the face.  This is how the Lord views that person who has a great VISION to live out his new God-empowered life, but never gets his VISION (thoughts) into ACTION.

   That person is like the guy who was a HEAD.   That person has vision to do things, but for whatever reason (poor time management, indifference, callousness, whatever) he never gets moving AND DOES IT.

   That person is no better than "the Head."  He has arm and legs; the complete body necessary to perform the acting-out of his visions .... but he never does it.  Everything about him is still in his head.  He never gets going to PUT IT IN ACTION. 

   All his ideas and thoughts and love and good intentions ... DIE ON THE VINE (so to say) and merely stay in his head.  James 1:22-24

(God's audible voice; strength like thunder ... thundering ... booming ... very masculine.)

   "Hear my voice: he who comes against thee (His people) I will smite them with my hand, in the end times."  (seen) ... the protection ... saw the Israelites being protected.

(audible ...said nicely):
   "Drink deeply, my children, of the cup of salvation, ... the new wine ... not of the cup of vengeance."

(understanding that was given:)
   We are like the person who plants a grape vine & enjoys the fruit of that grapevine. (seen: a flourishing grapevine)  Others planted the same vine, but let weeds grow up on it, and it didn't develop correct fruit.

   If we bear good fruit ... we will drink of good fruit.
   If we bear bad fruit ... we will drink of bad fruit.

   Praise is the fertilizer that makes the vine grow.  The pruning is the things we change in our lives.  The fruit that bears (results) after all this, is the cup of salvation that comes back to us.

   What we put forth, comes back to us.  When God takes & squeezes out the juice into our cups, if nothing squeezes out, then, who's fault is that?  We bring on ourselves, what we get.  God isn't vengeful.  (seen): God's hands squeezing out the juice from the fruit.

  The reason He said NEW WINE, is because if a person depends on the wine of the fruit that they have born in the past (i.e. all their good fruit, all their past accomplishments) then they are relying on that & they no longer are producing fruit.

   Our old wine (previous accomplishments) wouldn't carry us thru.  No matter how much you've accomplished in the past, you've still got to bring forth new fruit, otherwise your vine is sick or dying.  Always have a new crop.

   If you had brought in TONS of fruit, we're not to rely on this.  We're not to store it up & rely on it.  We've to continue to bear fruit!

   Sons produce quality fruit.  When we put forth praise, it rains back on us, and makes our crop grow ... thence our cup of salvation becomes full.  He said drink of the NEW WINE ... continue to produce NEW fruit.

   He showed me the root system ... and how well grounded we were in Him.

   Old wine is like Manna ... it can't be kept.
